Frequently asked questions
Which files do you accept?
DXF or SVG vector files, up to 10 MB. If you don't have a file, you can draw the part directly in the app. The rules for drawing and for exporting from each program are in the guide. See the design guide
Which materials do you work with?
S275 carbon steel (EN 10025-2), AISI 304 stainless steel, galvanised sheet, Zincor and Corten steel, in sheets up to 3000 × 1500 mm. The thicknesses we work with are shown in the app when you choose the material.
Do I need an account?
Yes. To request a quote you need to sign up to the app: sign in with your Google account or, if you don’t have one, with a code we email you. On first sign-in, the app asks for a short profile (individual or company). Your quotes are then saved and you can come back to them whenever you like.
Is the quoted price final?
The quote is calculated from your file and the options you choose, is valid for 30 days and excludes VAT. Shapes of the same material and thickness ordered together share the machine set-up and the sheets, so the total goes down. We check every file before production: if anything needs adjusting, we talk to you before going ahead.
How do I receive my parts?
You can collect them from our premises free of charge, or have them shipped by carrier to any country in the European Union. Before you order, the app shows you the estimated date: the day they are ready for collection or, for shipping, the shipping options for your address, each with its price and arrival date. If the order is too large or too heavy for the carrier, or if you prefer another way of shipping, we look for special transport and send you the price and the estimated date.
How do I pay?
In the app, when you order: online by card, MB WAY or PayPal, or by bank transfer. For your first orders, payment is always immediate. With regular customers, payment terms can be agreed and are set in your app profile.
Is it the same for businesses and individuals?
Yes. The path is the same for everyone: sign up in the app, upload or draw your part, see the price and order. If you are a business, add your billing details (tax ID) to your profile and invoices are issued in the company’s name. If you are an individual, you don’t need them: the invoice is issued to "final consumer" or, if you wish, with your tax number, which you give when ordering.
Can I order just one part?
Yes. There is no minimum order: you can order a single part or hundreds.
